3D Rotating Logo and Video Experimenting.
One thing ive known ive wanted to include in my Sound + Vision project is a spinning 3D logo. I have been meaning to learn how to do this for many years so now was a great time to implement it and learn.
I started by vectorising the 1960's logo:
I then used After-Effects to manipulate the image, transforming it into a 3D shape. I began to play with the geometry to do this. I then placed a rotation effect around the logo creating the spinning effect. This task was difficult on a whole due to my lack of RAM, thus meaning the render times where huge for previewing alone. I created a mockup up for potential direction I could take the campaign in. This can be seen below
